Nothing much to say regarding the smokeping snippet as it clearly shows some issues. Packet loss and slow speeds for around 24 hours on cable from start.ca. I reached a new speedtest low of 1.98Mbit down and 0.38Mbit up on a 250/20 line. That’s pretty impressive!
This creeps up more than you’d like on cable. The 48 hour ticket time doesn’t help as the issue always clears up after 24 hours so the whole process is futile and nothing changes.
This is what counts as wholesale cable internet in Canada. At least I’m not dealing directly with the incumbents.
